Our Mission
The Alan and Amy Meltzer Family Foundation honors the enduring legacy of its founders by championing causes rooted in compassion, resilience, and faith. Guided by the principles of Judaism and the belief in the shared responsibility to repair the world (Tikkun Olam), the Foundation is dedicated to strengthening Jewish life and supporting organizations that sustain and celebrate Jewish values and community. It also advances efforts to improve the lives of those affected by Type 1 diabetes, promote mental health awareness and access to care, alleviate food insecurity, and address the challenges of addiction. Through thoughtful philanthropy, partnership, and advocacy, the Foundation seeks to create lasting impact that reflects the Meltzers’ lifelong commitment to community, healing, and hope.
